Emma Dorn supports clients across the public, private and social sectors to improve education outcomes and equity for all students. She leads knowledge development and dissemination for McKinsey’s education work around the globe, including McKinsey’s Transform-Ed initiative to understand lessons from systems around the world which are ‘beating-the-odds’ to deliver better outcomes for students and their families. She has authored several education articles and reports, including a global analysis of OECD PISA data to identify drivers of student outcomes, analysis of the impact of the pandemic on student learning and wellbeing, and a perspective on how education systems can reimagine to emerge from the crisis with more equity and more resilience. She serves clients including school system developers, technology companies, bilateral and multilateral donors, foundations, and educational not-for-profit organisations. Each has a focus on post -COVID-19 learning recovery, student mental health, and harnessing technology and advanced analytics to improve teaching and learning.
