NewGlobe supports visionary governments to transform public education systems, the cornerstone of a prosperous, equitable, and peaceful society.

By supporting visionary governments at the national and state level, NewGlobe helps create powerful technology-enabled education systems. Leaders know that doing so unlocks enormous potential, empowering populations to create economic growth, deliver security and drive development.

NewGlobe has incomparable experience in transforming educational outcomes at speed and at scale. Education is a science. This is why we believe in gathering and applying data-driven learning improvements across every aspect of the education system to strengthen the foundation of today’s youth and tomorrow’s future.

In 2022, a groundbreaking study led by the Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Michael Kremer found that in Kenya, students at schools practising NewGlobe’s standardised and data-driven pedagogy were making significant gains in learning. A key finding was that for early childhood development students, two years of teaching using NewGlobe’s methods puts them a year-and-a-half of additional learning ahead of students in other schools. In addition, primary students, up to Grade 8 taught using NewGlobe’s full learning system for two years are nearly a whole additional year of learning ahead. The methods found to be so successful in this study underpin all government-led education transformation programmes supported by NewGlobe.

Education technology and pedagogical training used in NewGlobe’s approach has been praised by the World Bank, including during the global health crisis. While COVID-19 has undermined high-quality education delivery in various regions of the world, government-led programmes have supported learning outcomes for millions of children in Nigeria, Rwanda, Liberia, Uganda, Kenya and India.

NewGlobe recently became one of the first organisations to sign UNICEF’s Commitment to Action on Foundational Learning. The commitment calls on governments and education stakeholders to join together and take action to support foundational learning for all.

NewGlobe-supported programmes include EKOEXCEL, EdoBEST, RwandaEQUIP, KwaraLEARN, STARManipur, BayelsaPRIME, Bridge Liberia and Bridge Community Schools.
