EDT's purpose is to increase the life chances of individuals by improving education and skills outcomes. We operate wherever we can have an impact, delivering bespoke solutions to support anyone, anywhere. We have over 1,000 team members globally and we leverage our strong and dedicated technical expertise to design and implement evidence-led solutions in partnership with our clients.

Since 1968, EDT has worked in over 100 countries, from our roots providing British teachers internationally to delivering large-scale programmes that impact millions of learners. We continue to deliver evidence-led, impact-driven education and skills programmes in the UK, Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Asia, across early childhood education, school-aged learning and system strengthening, through to future readiness and adult careers. We partner with governments, funders and similar organisations to make the best global practices work in a local context. As a non-profit organisation, we invest our surplus into research which is openly available to all, and we are driven by the impact we have around the world.
