Chief Executive of Cambridge English Language Assessment
Saul Nassé was appointed Group Chief Executive of Cambridge Assessment in April 2018, having served as Chief Executive of Cambridge Assessment English since 2014. Prior to that, he enjoyed a 23 year career at the BBC. He was the editor of popular science programme Tomorrow’s World, and executive producer of the Indian version of Strictly Come Dancing. His last job at the BBC before joining Cambridge Assessment was as Controller, Learning, where he was responsible for the corporation’s education programmes and websites. Saul graduated from Robinson College, Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences and worked for three years as a research scientist at Cranfield University. He has been a governor of the University of Sunderland and a Trustee of the Teaching Awards.
