Moira Kelly’s work at not-for-profit organisation EXPLO, supports more than 80,000 students from 90 countries through its summer and school year programs. A not-for-profit organisation, EXPLO focuses on cultivating curiosity, exploration, and creativity in teaching and learning, EXPLO has worked with more than 10,000 in-service and pre-service teachers. As a member of the production team of the Commission on Presidential Debates, Moira has also presented at numerous conferences and workshops including the International Debate Symposia with the National Democratic Institute. Moira spearheaded Join the Debates, a project that brought civil discourse instructional materials to 16,000 U.S. classrooms. A graduate of Boston University School of Law and Bowdoin College, Moira is an Innovation Fellow at Boston University’s Wheelock School of Education and Human Development. She was a Thomas J. Watson Foundation Fellow (Canada), a Rotary Ambassador at Goodwill Fellow (UK), and one of the non-profit leaders in the MIT Media Lab’s Open Leadership program.
