Datuk Dr Amin bin Senin is currently the Director General of Education, Ministry of Education Malaysia. He has presented papers at various international and national conferences on Educational Leadership focusing on school leaders competency, such as in Malaysia-Oman Joint Seminar and the 9th World Convention of the International Confederation of Principals, Singapore; the Current Trends and Issues in Educational Management in Southeast Asia in SEAMEO Retract Meeting in Seam Reap, Cambodia; Financing Lifelong Learning Programmes for Sustainable Development in SEAMEO Innotech, Quezon City Manila; High Impact Training Initiatives for Malaysia School Leaders at 9th World Convention of the International Confederation of Principals in Singapore; High Impact Competencies for School Leaders in Malaysia and Educational Leadership – Neglected Dimension; 17th OECD Japan Seminar: How to Best Shape Teacher Policies – Policy lessons from international comparisons and guidance for the future education and schools, Japan. Datuk Dr Amin is also the president of South East Asia School Principals Forum and currently as a representative of Malaysia in the Governing Board Member for Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA).
