Project Management Kids Camp Case Study
4th December 2017
This case study addresses how disadvantaged children are gaining project management skills through fun learning at a two-week summer camp in Poland. The Project Management Kids Camp is a charitable initiative made possible with the help of the PMI Poland Chapter with a specific focus on working with kids living in orphanages and low income families.
Students learn skills through fun and innovative projects including creating a film and doing arts and crafts. PMI members use PMI Educational Foundation’s resources and adapt them for students aged 8-12. The chapter volunteers avoid traditional lectures by preparing lessons that involve active participation that keep the students engaged.
